241-365- Effects of Sunbathing
What happens when you take in too much sun exposure? Isn't it obvious?

239-365 Parting Ways
Faced with what is right, to leave it undone shows a lack of courage.

236-365- Fatso the Usless
Some cat owners name their pets George the Eradicator, Some name them Ernie, We often reference our cat "Fatso The Useless".
When food is readily available and soft pillows and expensive bedding is waiting to be puked upon, why would any cat bother to "earn its keep?"
235-365 Weedpatch Homestead
While returning from a business meeting in Bakersfield, I stumbled across this unique monument for Mr. Postman in the farming community of Weedpatch the setting for Steinbecks "Weedpatch Camp" in The Grapes of Wrath.

233-365 Scars of Yosemite
Took plenty of "touristy" pictures today in Yosemite; Half Dome, Bridalveil Falls, El Captian, blah blah blah. However, I found the scaring of a recent fire in the Yosemite National Park more interesting.

232-365 Line Mangement
Some of you know that with fly fishing its ALL about line management. Diane and I have been sharing some fantastic time together, throwing our lines in the Owens, Hot Creek, Lake Mary, East Walker, Twin Lakes, and Tuolumne Meadows.

229-365 Americana
I'm a big fan of America's roadside antiquities.
I'm on the road for a few days, heading toward Reno, via Mammoth Lakes, June, Bridgeport and Walker. Maybe Toulemme Meadows.

228-365 "It's a Good Life"...
"You're a bad man, a very bad man, You're going to the Cornfields.." One of my most favorite episodes of the Twilight Zone. "It's a Good Life".
The picture of the corn was taking today (in Ruths back yard), and the boy was taken from a painting depicting Anthony the little boy who sends Adults to the cornfields if he doesn't like them. taken a few months ago. (Acknowledgment -A.S. Ashley Studio)

227-365 What Not to Post on Flickr
This is a normal picture for me; people blinking, looking away, crazy looks, unflattering poses, et al. I thought this early evening party shot was perfect for what not to post on Flickr.

224-365 Waiting For A Walk
Scout, the girlfriend my wife sanctions with approval, anxiously awaits those 8 magic words..."Do you want to go for a walk?"
There are only a few walks left in this 'ol gal. She has made her Daddy proud in her younger years as partner and retriever, who has passed her Junior and Senior AKA Hunt and Field Trials tests. This high lustre lady, until her retirement from the "field", could retrieve a bird blind (without seeing where it fell) up to approx 250 yards by just my hand signals and whistle commands.....
Time for that walk, she is still waiting.

213-365 East of Eden
As My wife starts Steinbeck's novel, I find her fast asleep on the couch. I am reminded of the story of Good and Evil, Black & White, the story of Cain and Abel. And so begins an exploration of the perils of two families in the Salinas Valley. I'll let you know if she ever completes reading this novel.
